MoFo Cleantech Investment Briefing
on August 18, 2008
Morrison & Foerster LLP hosted a Cleantech Investment Briefing on June 4, 2008 in San Francisco. In this seminar, a panel of cleantech investors, industry experts and legal practitioners briefed the audience on opportunities for cleantech investments, focusing on five of the fastest-growing areas - carbon sequestration, cellulosic and algae-based biofuels, solar (photovoltaic and concentrating solar power), water and energy efficiency vs. energy intelligence.
In this video segment recorded from the event, Peter Hanschen summarizes California's energy conservation and efficiency policy, specifically AB32, and comments on the role of energy intelligence and "Smart Grid" in achieving the State's energy goal, as well as investment opportunities in these areas.
Peter Hanchen is Co-Chair of Morrison Foerster's Energy Practice, with over 35 years experience in the area representing gas utilities, gas pipelines, oil pipelines, terminals, oil and gas producers. More about the speaker can be found here.
