A Chat with Prof. He Xiaoying, VP of the Council, China High-Tech Industrialization Association

Prof. He Xiaoying led a delegation of 30+ Chinese company executives, entrepreneurs and investors to attend the U.S. China Green Energy Forum, held on October 22-23, 2009 in Palo Alto. The group represented a wide range of organizations involved in "green tech" R&D and commercialization, from large state-owned enterprises to small private companies to research institutions, covering several provinces.
In this interview, Essinova host BeiBei Song chats with Prof. He about these companies' interest in the U.S., financing of collaboration projects, the role of Chinese banks and the government's green building initiatives.
Professor He Xiaoying is the Vice Chair and Executive Secretary of China High-Tech Industrialization Association (CHIA). She also serves on the Advisory Board of US-China Green Energy Council. Professor HE is the China national distinguished expert and receives special allowance from China State Council. Professor HE has authored and co-authored more than 30 books, and published more than 200 journal papers. She has received many awards from government and professional organizations for her excellent research achievements. She is undertaking one important national research project for "eleventh-five" high-tech industry planning. She has been invited as the advisor for several local governments and enterprises, to provide consulting on their development strategy, model, and planning.
