At the 2010 Cleantech Forum in San Francisco, Veolia Environnment executive team led by Philippe Martin, Senior VP Research and Innovation, reaches out to Silicon Valley Cleantech startups through the press, announcing the company's Innovation Accelerator program. The program seeks to deploy innovative technologies for Veolia's four business lines - water, waste, energy and transportation, to help solve clients' environmental challenges. In return, start-up companies achieve scale and market access leveraging Veolia's vast service network worldwide.
[Note from the Editor: I had not heard about Veolia before attending this press conference, but the other day I couldn't help but notice the red Veolia logo on a Super Shuttle van picking up passengers in San Francisco. "See all these new things you are learning!" I said to myself. - BeiBei]
