Larry Hagman, best-known for his portrayal of J.R. Ewing in the long-running TV hit show "Dallas", vouches for solar at the SolarWorld press conference during Intersolar North America, drawing on his personal transformation from playing on screen the Texas tycoon in the heydays of U.S. oil business, to rebuilding himself as a "solar man" in real life.
Mr. Hagman began supporting solar as a board member for Solar Electric Light Fund. Then he built his own solar array in his home, including SolarWorld's 240W module debuted at Intersolar.
